£50,000 - £55,000+

A dual-office Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre is on the lookout for a Chartered (IStructE) Structural Engineer to join their brand new office to work across a host of wide-ranging project sectors such as Commercial, Educational, Historical, and Leisure, while also providing engineering solutions to the Entertainment industry, including Manchester's recent Chanel outdoor fashion show on Thomas Street in December 2023.

The offices are located in both Manchester and Leeds and were formed in 2008. They have around 25 staff across the Pennines in total.

The company was established in 2008 after the Directorship had previously worked together at a well-known international Consultancy. This firm thinks big but benefits from a small, personable, and intimate culture.

This is a good opportunity for a Chartered Structural Engineer with consultancy experience (6-10+ years) who has already achieved Chartered status with the IStructE. The ideal candidate will have:

• A current Senior Structural Engineer job title
• At least 6+ years' experience (flexible) in a similar role in a consultancy environment
• A degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience using AutoCAD
• A clean UK driver's license for site and client visits

Locality is key in this role, and relocations will most likely not be considered. There is room for the right candidate to join the team immediately.

Salary will vary depending on experience. A candidate with a degree plus 4 years' experience can expect a package of around £50,000 - £55,000+. Other levels of experience and suitability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
