Chartered/Senior Chartered Building Surveyor – Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow) | Commercial Real Estate | Hybrid Working

Are you a Chartered or Senior Chartered Building Surveyor looking for a fresh opportunity with a forward-thinking and collaborative consultancy? This is your chance to join an established, international real estate consultancy that takes a distinctly different and people-first approach.

Due to significant growth across the business, a new opportunity has opened within the Scotland team (either Edinburgh or Glasgow) to support a wide range of building consultancy projects in the commercial sector. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deliver a wide scope of professional services including dilapidations, schedules of condition, technical due diligence, defect analysis, and project management.
  • Take ownership of your workload with the opportunity to lead projects and manage client relationships.
  • Play a key role in business development, supporting opportunities from pitch to project completion.
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the growth of the building consultancy offering.
  • Support the leadership team in achieving strategic growth and client satisfaction goals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying (BSc Hons or equivalent).
  • MRICS qualified with 1–2 years PQE (or more).
  • Confident working across the commercial real estate sectors including retail, industrial, and office space.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working in a hybrid, tech-enabled environment.
  • Client-facing, commercially aware, and capable of generating future business.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to grow both personally and professionally.
