Job summary

Noble Recruiting are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected Building Services provider in Ashington. In this permanent role you will manage day-to-day QS duties, cost reporting and contract administration across client sites.

You will lead procurement, manage budgets and liaise with site teams to ensure value for money while adhering to Health and Safety requirements. Driving licence and own transport are required.

Qualifications

• Chartered status or relevant experience at a similar level is essential.
• Social Housing experience within an Association/Developer or Local Authority context is essential.
• Experience delivering day-to-day quantity surveying duties including procurement, project management, contract administration and large budgets.
• Full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day quantity surveying duties, contracts administration, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Support improvements and interconnectivity with commercial management software and systems.
• Attend project/site locations to develop work scope and schedule of works, with site inspections of progress and commercial performance.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and pricing schedules to maximise value for money.
