THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of PQS, seeks a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join at Executive / Associate Designate level, working from their Bristol office on high-value, varied projects.

The ideal candidate is an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor currently at project surveyor level, eager to progress to the next level.

The projects include residential, commercial offices, leisure, large-scale masterplanning, retail, light industrial, and film studios.

The role involves all aspects of PQS work, both pre and post contract.

Excellent client-facing skills are essential.

My client is a PQS firm with a diverse client base in both private and public sectors. They offer cost management and project management services, with multiple UK and international offices.

Candidate Requirements

• MRICS qualified or working towards RICS membership, with PQS experience.
• Good pre and post contract experience, including budget management, cost planning, procurement, risk management.
• Ability to work independently within a friendly team.
• Strong client-facing skills.
• Stable employment record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CostX or similar.
• Experience across various UK projects.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Salary

£55,000 to £75,000 plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus, etc.
