Job summary

Storeton Rose Financial Planning is a Chartered financial planning firm based in Higher Bebington on the Wirral seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to take on an existing portfolio of client relationships. You will inherit trusted, long-standing client relationships and be supported through a proper handover, including joint meetings in the early stages.

Your focus is to continue delivering the standard of advice and service these clients are used to, grow the value of the book

Qualifications

• Chartered Financial Planner status (or equivalent) with significant advising experience.
• Proven track record managing a client bank and building long-term trust.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Taking on an existing client bank through a structured, supported handover.
• Providing independent financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection, retirement and estate planning.
• Carrying out annual reviews and ongoing advice for your client bank.
• Identifying further planning opportunities within existing client relationships.
• Working closely with paraplanning and administration team on casework.
• Sharing your experience with less senior planners in the team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to take on an existing portfolio of client relationships. This is not a role where you build a book from nothing, you will inherit trusted, long-standing client relationships and be supported through a proper handover, including joint meetings in the early stages.

Your focus from there is straightforward: keep delivering the standard of advice and service these clients are used to, build on those relationships, and grow the value of the book over time.

What You Will Be Doing

• Taking on an existing client bank through a structured, supported handover
• Providing independent financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection, retirement and estate planning
• Carrying out annual reviews and ongoing advice for your client bank
• Identifying further planning opportunities within existing client relationships
• Working closely with our paraplanning and administration team on casework
• Sharing your experience with less senior planners in the team

What We Are Looking For

• Chartered Financial Planner status (or equivalent) with significant advising experience
• A proven track record of managing a client bank and building long-term trust
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning
• The confidence and warmth to build rapport quickly with clients new to working with you
• A genuine team player, comfortable working closely with paraplanning and admin colleagues
