Job Description
My client is a leading firm of Chartered Accountants with a strong regional presence, providing a comprehensive and integrated financial planning service to a wide range of business and private clients.They are looking for a Chartered Financial Planner to join their team, playing a key role in servicing their established client base as well as developing new business opportunities through their strong internal referral network of accountants and business advisers.Responsibilities will include but not limited to:• Delivering professional, client-focused financial planning advice to both new and existing clients• Building relationships and developing new business through introducers and networking opportunities• Conducting fact finds and ensuring all “know your customer” requirements are met• Researching existing arrangements and evaluating alternative solutions to achieve client objectives• Preparing suitability reports and explaining recommendations in plain, practical • Supporting clients with applications, paperwork, and ongoing reviews• Maintaining accurate client records, files, and supporting documentation• Keeping up to date with relevant products, legislation, and technical changes• Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and the firm’s internal procedures• Providing cover for colleagues during holidays or absence• Playing an active role in meeting business targets and contributing to the overall success of the financial planning teamThe ideal candidate:• Level 6 CII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning• CII Chartered Financial Planner status (essential)• Competent Adviser Status (current)• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant financial services experience, with strong suitability report writing skills• SOLLA Accreditation desirable• Experience working in an IFA practice environment desirable• Familiarity with FE Analytics and Intelligent Office advantageous• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to advice• Confident decision-maker, able to influence and persuade• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookBenefits:• 36.25 hours / 5 days per week – flexible and hybrid working available• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays• Annual salary review and performance bonus scheme• Death in service – 3 x annual salary• Access to healthcare cashback scheme• 24-hour external Employee Assistance Programme helpline• Flexible benefits including Buy and Sell holiday, Cycle to Work, Payroll Charity Giving, and Private Medical Insurance• Introducing clients and staff commission schemes• Pension – 3% rising to 4% (matched up to 6% after 4 years’ service)• Enhanced maternity and paternity pay after one year’s serviceShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
