The Role:

Were looking for a motivated Chartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (CEng or IEng) to join our team, taking ownership of technical delivery for the Flex MSE vegetated retaining wall system. Based in Altrincham, youll collaborate closely with sales, delivery teams, and external engineers to provide technically sound, sustainable solutions across infrastructure and landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, coordinate, and approve designs for Flex MSE retaining walls and slopes

Liaise with external design engineers to ensure technical accuracy and compliance

Interpret ground investigations, site data, and structural reports

Advise internal teams on feasibility, risk, and best practice

Support complex project tenders with the Estimations team

Occasionally visit sites for technical support and planning

Help develop company-wide technical knowledge and standards

Standard hours: 9am5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel

Requirements:

Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng or IEng)

Essential

Reliable and organised

2+ years' experience in infrastructure, earthworks, or structural design

Strong geotechnical knowledge, including soil-structure interaction

Confident reviewing and interpreting third-party designs and site data

Clear communicator, explaining technical issues clearly with non-technical colleagues

Proficient with MS Excel and civil engineering software

Full clean UK driving licence
