Blaymires Recruitment is representing a Surveying and Consultancy firm based near Southampton who are searching for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their business.

The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.

They are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to undertake project management and employer's agent duties while overseeing the replacement Cladding and Façade projects.

Requirements of the Chartered Building Surveyor:

1. MCIOB or MRICS
2. Project management experience preferred.
3. A minimum of four years' technical delivery experience gained within a construction consultancy.
4. Pre and post-contract experience.
5. Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.
6. Strong IT skills (AutoCAD, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and other bespoke software).
7. Organised, diligent and commercially astute.
8. A team player with a 'can-do' attitude.

On Offer for the Chartered Building Surveyor:

1. Salary up to £70,000.
2. Car Allowance £5000.
3. Bonus up to £3k per year.
