Chartered Building Surveyor - Newcastle - £40,000 to £60,000 basic salary + bonus

This partner led, independent Property Group is looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor. The firm operates in various areas of property including Surveying, Property/Asset Management, Town Planning, Rural and Agricultural Consulting, and Residential Estate Agency. Working in both commercial and residential sectors, a successful candidate can expect to work on a range of building styles, undertaking a variety of acquisition surveys, defect inspections, dilapidations, and project work.

What you will be doing

  1. Undertake both residential and commercial property acquisition surveys
  2. Prepare schedules of dilapidations
  3. Prepare schedules of condition
  4. Schedule works, tender, and manage projects
  5. Be adaptable and able to take on new service streams to meet client demand
  6. Be comfortable working with a range of building types from different periods, including listed buildings

What you will have

  1. Have a degree in Building Surveying
  2. MRICS qualified
  3. Have experience in both residential and commercial building surveying
  4. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
