An established and growing property and building consultancy is looking to appoint a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join its expanding London Building Consultancy team.
The business is experiencing continued growth both locally and nationally and is looking for an experienced Building Surveyor who can walk into the role and independently deliver professional Building Surveying instructions from day one.
This is a newly created position offering genuine scope for progression, with the level open from Associate through to Director, depending on experience.
The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for a broad range of professional Building Surveying instructions, working directly with clients and providing technically robust advice and reporting.
The key requirement is someone with a strong professional services Building Surveying background, rather than a candidate whose experience is predominantly project management, facilities management or operational delivery.
You will be expected to manage instructions independently, maintain client relationships and help the wider team manage increasing workloads as the business continues to grow.
Experience across a broad range of professional Building Surveying services is required, including:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical work, managing your own instructions and developing strong, trusted relationships with clients.
Candidates operating at Associate level are particularly encouraged to apply, although experienced Associate Directors and Directors will also be considered.
Candidates whose backgrounds are predominantly project management or facilities management, without a strong professional Building Surveying foundation, are unlikely to be suitable.
