Job summary

EC Recruitment Group is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to transition into development monitoring in London’s West End. You will work with lenders on a portfolio of residential, hotel and commercial schemes and gradually take responsibility for your own instructions.

The role offers pathing into development monitoring with training from an established national team, flexible work between home, sites and the West End office, and a bonus-and-benefits package.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

An established construction consultancy is looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor who wants to move into development monitoring.

The team has a sustained flow of new instructions from banks and other lenders. It includes more than 30 monitoring specialists nationally, so you would be joining people who can train and support you as you learn the discipline.

You ll advise lenders on development risks across a portfolio of mainly residential schemes, alongside hotel and commercial projects. As your experience grows, you ll take responsibility for your own instructions, from the initial review through construction and completion.

The Role

Package

The basic salary is £60,000 £85,000, depending on experience, plus a bonus and benefits package. The bonus offers the potential for total earnings to reach six figures.
