As the UK's foremost independent experts in Capital Allowances, our team ensures that our clients receive the maximum tax relief they are entitled to.

This position involves working with our clients to maximise the tax relief on their capital expenditure projects. It is ideally suited to a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), preferably with some experience in Tax.

Aligned with our Worcester office, we operate on a hybrid basis, mixing time in the office and at home.

Training will be provided to develop your expertise in the following areas:

  1. Preparing submission documents for HMRC, including Capital Allowances identified by HMA Tax.
  2. Considering the best use of allowances in different scenarios and advising clients accordingly.
  3. Liaising with accountants on submission processes.
  4. Considering other tax reliefs such as revenue relief, Land Remediation Relief, and Structures and Buildings Allowances.
  5. Communicating with clients and potential clients to explain our services.
  6. Assessing financial documents for the viability of claims.
  7. Coordinating with clients and contractors to analyse capital expenditure for Capital Allowance purposes.
  8. Undertaking apportionment calculations, including land valuations in line with HMRC's methodology.
  9. Serving as a point of contact on specific Capital Allowance projects for client and accountant queries.
