About the Role
We are currently seeking a coatings team to support a short-term project on the Mariner A platform. This is a 3-week scope of work, mobilising on 25 July 2025.
Positions Available
1 x QA/QC – Coatings Inspector
2 x Industrial Painters (with valid Chartek certification)
Key Responsibilities
QA/QC – Coatings Inspector:
Conduct quality assurance and control inspections on all coatings applications
Ensure compliance with specifications and health & safety standards
Document findings and produce reports for project leads
Industrial Painters:
Apply Chartek passive fire protection coatings in accordance with manufacturer and project specifications
Carry out surface preparation and painting to offshore standards
Adhere to safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
Offshore certifications (BOSIET, MIST, Medical)
Valid Chartek certification (Painters only)
Proven experience working offshore in a similar role
Knowledge of coatings systems and application standards
For QA/QC: Certification in coatings inspection (e.g., NACE/ICorr)
Pay Rates (LTD Company Basis)
Industrial Painter (Deck):
Day Shift (DS): £29.00/hour
Night Shift (NS): £31.00/hour
Overtime (OT): £37.70/hour
QA/QC – Coatings Inspector:
Day Shift (DS): £43.15/hour
Night Shift (NS): £45.03/hour
Overtime (OT): £58.00/hour
Additional Information
This role is offered on a contract basis, hired directly.
A 10% deduction to L&S may apply unless hired via PAYE.
Successful candidates must be available for mobilisation on 25 July 2025.
