Job title: Charles River Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled Charles River Project Manager for a future role to oversee the successful delivery of initiatives involving the Charles River Investment Management Solution (IMS) platform. This role will focus on managing projects related to the Order Management System (OMS), Performance & Attribution, Trading Solutions, and Data Integration components of CRIMS.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of projects related to Charles River IMS, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Oversee projects spanning Charles River OMS, Performance & Attribution, Trading Solutions, and Data Integration initiatives.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, IT teams, vendors, and Charles River Development (CRD) to define requirements and priorities.
Develop detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet, track milestones, manage dependencies, and adjust timelines as needed.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
Coordinate data integration efforts with upstream/downstream systems and external vendors, ensuring seamless connectivity to market data, custodians, and internal platforms.
Monitor and mitigate project risks, issues, and scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain and communicate clear documentation including status reports, risk logs, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure that project deliverables align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Assist with testing, training, and go-live readiness for Charles River enhancements and implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2+ years working on Charles River IMS projects.
Proven experience managing modules such as Charles River OMS, Trading Solutions, and Performance & Attribution.
Familiarity with Charles River Data Integration concepts and vendor coordination.
Proficient in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
Strong knowledge of investment operations, order execution workflows, and trade lifecycle.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and balancing competing priorities.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
Familiarity with Charles River APIs, compliance modules, or data warehousing initiatives.
Understanding of financial regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank) and how they relate to trade and compliance systems.
Experience with vendor and third-party service provider coordination.
