Job description

Responsibilities include:

  1. Approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts, and individuals to secure funding.
  2. Organising and assisting with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, house-to-house, and street collections.
  3. Recruiting volunteers and coordinating their work.
  4. Planning donation campaigns and events.
  5. Controlling budgets and working towards targets.
  6. Writing reports and minutes of meetings.
  7. Designing fundraising materials such as leaflets and flyers.
  8. Creating and organising fundraising initiatives and events.
  9. Approaching potential donors and maintaining donor lists.
  10. Liaising with external agencies, including voluntary sector organisations, the media, local authorities, business contacts, trustees, and other stakeholders or clients.
  11. Recruiting and coordinating volunteers.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

We are looking for an ideal candidate who has:

  • Great attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
