Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is seeking an experienced Charity Retail Assistant to join our friendly team.

Our Emporium charity shop in Hinckley, Leicestershire raises vital funds to support our charity. The unique Emmaus model provides meaningful work opportunities for people who have faced homelessness (known as companions), and so our staff work together with companions and volunteers to run our shop.

The Retail Assistant will support our Head of Business & Support in managing the Emporium business activities and helping to support companions at work as key members of the team, in compliance with our charity’s ethos, mission, strategic aim, organisation objectives and policies.

  • Experience in handling second-hand furniture is essential.
  • Hourly rate – £12.21
  • Working Hours – 22.5 hours per week (will including Saturdays)
  • Employee Assistance – a 24/7 employee assistance scheme is available
