The Soil Association is seeking a Finance Business Partner (Charity) to join the Group Finance team in Bristol, offering hybrid working (40% office based).

You will produce and analyse group management accounts, consolidate subsidiary accounts, and support budget holders with monthly financial reporting to enable informed decisions. Collaboration with the Group Financial Controller is essential for budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Several years post-qualification experience in management accounting.
• Significant practical experience of working in charity accounting and within the Charity SORP framework.
• Experience as a business partner to non-financial stakeholders; ability to explain complex charity accounting concepts.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions with budget holders and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience of managing a small team and coaching junior members.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline driven.
• Knowledge of Sage accounting platforms and Power BI is beneficial.
• Willingness to attend office in central Bristol two days per week.

Responsabilités

• Produce and analyse regular group management accounts.
• Consolidate subsidiary accounts managed by other Finance Partners.
• Monitor restricted fund reporting.
• Support budget holders interpreting monthly financial reports to enable informed decisions.
• Collaborate with Group Financial Controller on budget and forecasting processes.
• Support year-end audit preparation and related activities.
