Job summary

ShelterBox is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our busy finance team at HQ in Truro. The role focuses on maintaining financial records, processing supplier invoices, and assisting with payroll and month-end tasks.

Flexible hybrid working is available, with a 37.5 hour week and a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and support multiple areas of financial operations, including currency handling, gift aid processes, and

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a finance team.
• Main core duty will be maintaining the purchase ledger.
• Experience with payroll processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Financial Records and ensure accuracy.
• Process invoices, payments and bank transactions.
• Manage payroll processing and HMRC submissions.
• Reconcile bank, petty cash and foreign currency.
• Support month end and year end reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset register and post depreciation journals.
• Support procurement and purchase ledger system.
• Provide financial information to HR and other departments.
