Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Finance Manager for a respected charity in Ipswich. Reporting to Head of Finance, you will lead a small team, oversee financial reporting, controls and analysis, and support system improvements.

The role blends strategic and operational duties with broad exposure to senior stakeholders and governance, offering ongoing development of the finance function within a values-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience producing management and statutory financial information.
• Experience leading or supervising colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and annual reporting.
• Produce management accounts, budgets, forecasts and analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and variances.
• Oversee transaction processing and controls.
• Manage journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support treasury and cashflow activities.
• Lead systems development and reporting improvements.
• Develop management reporting and financial insights.
• Line manage a small finance team and deputise for Head of Finance.
