Job summary

Amnesty International is seeking a Programme Officer to coordinate income grants and report across AIUK, AI Canada and AI International Secretariat, handling around £14m per year. You will lead narrative and financial funding requests, collaborate with programme teams, and ensure funds are spent as intended while meeting tight reporting deadlines.

The role sits within the Programme Funding & Partnerships Team, working with International Finance and Global Strategy & Governance to drive donor

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Programme Officer, Project Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in project management and planning with multiple stakeholders.
• Expertise in budgeting, monitoring progress, risk and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• To manage assessment income grants that fund projects across the IS from Amnesty UK, Amnesty Canada, and the International Secretariat charitable trusts.
• To develop proposals and reports and work closely with AIUK, AI Canada and AIC to ensure they receive the information as required for reporting back at Trustee meetings.
• To work with the International Finance team preparing relevant financial reports for the Trustees and IS senior leadership, ensuring accountability to donors.
