Job summary
Sanctuary Group in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, is seeking a Landscape Technician Chargehand to join our Estates Team. You will be working in a small two-person team with occasional lone working, delivering a reliable estate maintenance service.
The role requires NVQ3 in Horticulture or equivalent, practical experience with machinery, supervisory ability, and a UK driving licence. You will perform grounds maintenance tasks, keep accurate records, and ensure tools and equipment are safe and
Qualifications
- NVQ3 or equivalent in Horticulture or similar discipline.
- Some practical experience of operating machinery and recent experience of undertaking a similar role.
- Some experience supervising others.
- Some experience interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records.
Responsibilities
- Grounds maintenance tasks using commercial tools, machinery and chemicals.
- Carrying out ad-hoc tasks such as flytip removal, bin store cleaning and jet washing.
- Providing supervisory support to keep estates well maintained and clean.
