Charge-hand Cleaning Assistant Temporary - Newton Primary School

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council, for a Charge-hand Cleaner at Newton Primary School.

The post involves providing supervisory and cleaning services on a 22-hour per week (39-week/term time) basis, between 15:00 and 19:24, paid at Stirling Council Grade 2. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting cleaning assistants at Newton Primary School, ordering cleaning supplies, and key-holding duties to enable cleaning services.

The ideal candidate should be willing to support colleagues, capable of lifting heavy items, and proficient in using cleaning machinery such as electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners. Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided.

Applicants should have a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to utilize Stirling Council's online training and HR IT applications.

The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If progressed after the interview, verification of details will be required.
