Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This position is for Emergency / CEPOD / PRM Theatres GRI and is a permanent role.

Key responsibilities include care planning, teamwork, clinical leadership, communication, policy and procedure adherence, and education/mentorship of staff and students.

The role supports 24/7 service delivery within the North Sector theatres, requiring a flexible skill set.

You will lead a fast-paced theatre, managing patient care and staff to support flexible service hours, working closely with the Senior Charge Nurse to meet departmental targets.

The role may require working flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and out-of-hours emergency coverage.

Applicants should demonstrate continual professional development, IT skills, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for theatre work.
