Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, and a wider population of 2.2 million including regional and national services.

Post hours:

  • 1 x 10-hour night duty post
  • 5 x variable shifts, totaling 32.5 hours

Post 1: The District Nurse Sister/Charge Nurse will manage community patients, lead a team of qualified nursing staff and health support workers, and work night shifts delivering unscheduled care to complex patients as the sole Registered Nurse on shift for 10 hours once per week.

Post 2: Five posts within the Out of Hours evening service from 17:00 to 22:00, 1-2 shifts per week, delivering unscheduled care to complex patients in their homes.
