Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse to join our team. We are an under 75's acute medical ward managing patients with complex medical needs.

You will have a sound clinical knowledge of the unique clinical needs of medical patients and a desire to deliver the right treatment in the right place at the right time.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have an interest in developing your leadership style, people management expertise in conjunction with the HR team along with excellent inspiring communication skills.

You will be committed to leading by example, encouraging and empowering your team along with all members of the MDT to ensure consistently high standards of care are set and delivered

.

Provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model and supporting the Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward.

Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the Charge Nurse.

Provide clear clinical leadership to staff, deputising for the Charge Nurse in her/his absence.
