Job summary

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritise care delivery within the ward setting and ensure policy compliance.
• Supervise the ward team and delegate tasks according to skills and development needs.
• Participate in governance processes and ensure data quality/record keeping meet Trust requirements.
• Adhere to the NMC Code and Trust policies, acting as a positive role model.
• Contribute to annual appraisal and Personal Development Plans for the ward team.
