Job summary

Arbury Court in Winwick, Warrington is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead and empower the nursing team across medium, low secure, and PICU environments. You will support the Ward Manager, co-ordinate on-call services, and manage ward budgets while role-modeling best practice in adult female care.

You will guide staff, promote recovery, and deliver supervision to ensure high-quality, person-centred care for service users with personality disorders and mental health conditions.

Job description

NHS or private care, you will support the Ward Manager to lead the nursing team in providing high-quality care and support to adult women in a medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) environment, who have Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. As a Charge Nurse, you will empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward to deliver great healthcare. You will work alongside the senior Nurse and Ward Manager to co‑ordinate the on‑call service and manage the ward budgets, and lead by example, acting as a role model to all members of the nursing team, leading care teams and creating a positive learning environment that makes a difference and changes lives for the better.

With experience from the, Arbury Court and provide care and treatment for adult women in medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care PICU) environments, who have Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions. Rehabilitation and recovery at Arbury Court focuses on care being 'person-centred' as opposed to 'disease-centred'. The service is located just off the M62 junction 9 in Winwick, which benefits from good transport links, making it easy to commute to from most local areas between Liverpool and Manchester.
