The Charge Nurse role at Elysium Healthcare's Stanley House in Ledbury is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to lead and manage a team of nurses in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with neurological conditions. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the unit, delegate tasks, monitor service users' conditions, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for motivating, supporting, and managing your team of nurses. What you will be doing

With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to people in aNeurological setting, while supporting your team and colleagues and promote good teamwork. As a Charge Nurse, you’ll lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivering of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit is performing well. You'll also;

  • Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
  • Monitor service users’ conditions and respond to changes
  • Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
  • Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration

Where you will be working

Location:Bosbury, Hereford, Herefordshire,HR8 1HB You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long term care provision and provides the specialised care and expert therapeutic intervention for those effected by the majority of known Neurological Conditions. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will support and enable residents to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs. Stanley House offers therapies and activities which include Physiotherapy and Art therapy and receives input from a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly specialist GP clinics.
