Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead the nursing team at Cotswold Spa Hospital, a CAMHS-focused facility for young people aged 13-17 and young adults up to 25. You will oversee care delivery, support your team and ensure smooth daily operations in a challenging, supportive environment.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary group to promote evidence-based practice, leadership, and excellent patient outcomes. The role offers career development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with RMN or RNLD registration (NMC).
• Experience in CAMHS or adolescent care is preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a busy nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide high-quality care to young people with complex Mental Health needs.
• Lead and coordinate nursing care and clinical services on the unit.
• Delegate tasks, monitor conditions, and manage staffing and resources.
• Communicate effectively with the wider healthcare team to ensure smooth operation.

What you will be doing:

With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to women with complex Mental Health needs, while supporting your team and colleagues and promote good teamwork.

As a Charge Nurse, you'll lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivering of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit is performing well. You'll also;

• Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
• Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes
• Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
• Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
• Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration

No two days will be the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

Where you will be working:

Location: Cotswold Spa Hospital, Station Rd, Broadway WR12 7DE

Cotswold Spa is a specialist eating disorder clinic for young people aged from 13-17 years (CAMHS referrals) and young adults aged 18 to 25 years.

The service treats patients with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and mental health diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and some may have a co-morbid diagnosis of learning disabilities.

The hospital is Ofsted registered and provides education facilities for patients who are still studying.

Patients on average stay for a period of 3-4 months. The aim is to restore a healthy weight, modify problem behaviours linked to the eating disorder and help parents and carers work with the young person.

Brook House was recently opened and is situated just a few doors down. This is a satellite centre and supports residents. We are not currently recruiting into this service.
