Ely­sium Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse at Cotswold Spa Hospital to lead the nursing team and oversee the daily running of the unit. The role involves delegating tasks, monitoring patients and coordinating with other clinicians within a specialist eating disorder clinic that serves young people and young adults.

The successful candidate will be RMN or RNLD registered with NHS or private sector experience, a strong leadership track record and a dedication to evidence-based practice and

Qualifications

• A qualified nurse with registration and current NMC status.
• NMC registration as RMN or RNLD.
• Experience in NHS or private sector settings is preferred.
• DBS disclosure is required.
• Positive, caring and compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care and clinical service delivery on the unit.
• Oversee and provide high-quality care to women with complex mental health needs.
• Ensure the day-to-day operation of the unit performs well.
• Motivate, support, manage and supervise the nursing team and provide guidance.
• Delegate nursing tasks and coordinate with other teams.
• Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes.
• Make critical decisions on service user assignments, staff scheduling and resource allocation.
• Liaise between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Job description

Charge Nurse at Cotswold Spa Hospital, a specialist eating disorder clinic run by Elysium Healthcare, leading the nursing team and day-to-day running of the unit. The role covers delegating nursing tasks, monitoring patients, making staffing and resource decisions, and liaising with other clinicians. The clinic treats young people aged 13 to 17 referred through CAMHS and young adults aged 18 to 25, including anorexia and bulimia. Fit depends on RMN or RNLD registration and prior experience in a similar setting.
