Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic in Ayr is seeking a Charge Nurse in Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing to join our dedicated team. The Charge Nurse provides senior nursing leadership within the ward, mentors junior staff and works closely with the Ward Manager to maintain the highest standards of care while promoting patient wellbeing and safe practice.

This full‑time role covers 37.5 hours per week and operates on a rotating rota across days and nights, with every second weekend off.

Qualificações

• Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing.
• Minimum of 18 months post-registration experience within a clinical speciality.
• Demonstrable leadership skills in a clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

Salary: £46,014 - £49,314 dependant on experience plus £5,000 welcome bonus
Hours: Full Time/37.5 Hours
Rota: Hours worked are over 7 days on a two week pattern with rotational days and nights worked in blocks. Pattern allows every second weekend off.

Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic has an opportunity for a Charge Nurse in Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing to join our team. Ayr Clinic, Ayr, is a low secure mental health service for males and females with a mental health diagnosis and/or personality disorder. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

The Charge Nurse provides senior nursing leadership within the ward team, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure high standards of care.
