Job summary

Meallmore is opening Pitfodels Wood Care Home in Aberdeen's West End. We are seeking a Charge Nurse to coordinate clinical care, lead the care team, and deliver evidence-based, person-centred services to residents.

You will be a registered nurse (RGN/RMN/RLDN) with active NMC registration and prior care home experience. The role offers £23.58 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, and benefits including mentorship, enhanced earnings, parking and meal subsidies.

Joining our team as a Charge Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering clinical excellence through an evidence-based, personalised approach to care. Through your leadership, expertise, and commitment to best practice, you will ensure residents receive the highest standards of care while maintaining our values-driven approach.

Combining your clinical expertise with compassionate leadership, you will inspire, support and oversee the care team, leading the delivery of first-class person-centred care for the residents of Pitfodels Wood.

What we are looking for

You will be a registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RLDN) with active NMC registration and proven experience within a care home setting.

Beyond your qualifications, you will demonstrate:

• Strong clinical knowledge and values driven
• Understanding of Scottish regulatory frameworks
• The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
• Professional, compassionate and motivated - you'll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
• What's just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
