Who are we?
St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire's specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed.

What we expect of you?
As a member of the Hospice team the post holder will be pro-active in attending to the complex pastoral, spiritual and religious needs of all patients, families and carers, ensuring that all care is patient led and focused on the needs of the individual. Applicants will hold a degree in theology or the equivalent and have undertaken training in advanced communication skills. A minimum of 3 years proven pastoral/spiritual experience in a healthcare setting and a flexible approach to working hours are essential, as a keen interest in Palliative and End of Life Care.
