JOB MISSION:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to improve the footwear opportunity at DTC by driving consistency and efficiency across the region. This role involves encouraging a DTC point of view during the planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving business growth in a fast-paced environment.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  1. Deliver business targets (volume, gross margin, style efficiency) for DTC Footwear.
  2. Collaborate with the EMEA DTC team to define regional needs across E-commerce, Full Price Retail, Outlets, and Marketplace.
  3. Drive the planning process from a “bottoms up perspective” to align with sales and merchandising objectives.
  4. Liaise with Global DTC Merchandising and input into seasonal DTC Assortments.
  5. Represent DTC needs across the EMEA Merchandising organization and at key global achievement meetings.
  6. Lead merchandising tasks aligned to critical metrics and maintain EMEA assortment info.
  7. Travel to markets for research and product feedback (may include weekends/unsociable hours).
  8. Brief product ideas for category growth and handle the seasonal GTM process.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with key Global and Regional team members.
  10. Share monthly DTC updates with cross-functional teams, emphasizing metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  1. Proven experience in either a merchandising/buying or product management role.
  2. Relevant experience preferably within a footwear (movement) focused environment.
  3. Passionate about sports or athletics products.
  4. Proven experience in collaboration across different teams.
  5. Knowledgeable about global consumer trends and key brands/retailers.
  6. Strong presentation and communication skills (confident presenting in front of large audiences).
  7. Product briefing: effectively communicate consumer needs, design specifications, and financial requirements.
  8. Managing relations across different cultural nuances within EMEA and Globally.
  9. Ability to meet tight deadlines and achieve all merchandising achievements.
  10. Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficient with key financial and merchandising metrics.
  11. Team player with high-level organizational skills.
  12. Willing and able to travel internationally frequently.
