Our client, a leading law firm in the Channel Islands, currently seeks an experienced Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in Guernsey.

You will work closely with clients on disputes, litigation, and insolvency matters, and will be responsible for preparing and conducting proceedings in courts and tribunals. Core tasks include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of each client’s business and communicating that knowledge within the team.
  • Representing the Group in dealings with law firms, government agencies, and other professionals.
  • Taking instructions from attorneys or clients, and drafting legal instruments.
  • Advising clients on matters within the Litigation and Insolvency Practice Group.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ PQE with litigation experience and strong academic qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to move to the Channel Islands and join a friendly, inclusive team.

ITPC Associate – Guernsey (Assignment 16154)

Our client, a financial law firm, is recruiting an Associate/Senior Associate for its International Trusts and Private Client Team in Guernsey. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing documentation and legal principles from third parties.
  • Gathering instructions, analyzing issues, advising clients, and preparing documentation.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as conflict searches, due diligence, and billing.
  • Supporting junior fee earners and escalating issues to Partners.

Applicants should have a Solicitor or Barrister qualification, at least 3 years’ PQE, and a background in trust and financial services. STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.

Banking & Finance – Jersey / Hybrid (Assignment 15865)

This firm is recruiting for its Banking and Finance team in Jersey. The candidate should have up to 4 years’ PQE, experience in banking and finance, and familiarity with Jersey law is a plus.

Corporate – Jersey (Assignment 15797)

We are hiring a newly qualified lawyer for a corporate role in Jersey. Experience in corporate, banking, funds, or finance during training is preferred. The firm offers flexible, hybrid working.

Additionally, there is an opportunity for a solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to join a large corporate team in the Cayman Islands, advising on transactional matters, with a preference for candidates with experience in funds, corporate, or banking and finance.
