Position: Change Orders Analyst

Location: Remote in the UK

Position Summary:

The Change Orders Analyst will lead change order budget creation activities, collaborating with project management, functional leads, and financial analysts to develop, explain, and analyze variances in change orders, preparing them for client presentation. The role involves tracking change order requests, developing departmental metrics, and participating in internal and client calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with project teams to produce accurate, meaningful change orders promptly.
  2. Review assumption changes to budgets, identifying gaps and translating information into financial documents.
  3. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate change order delivery.
  4. Lead change order alignment meetings.
  5. Draft and customize change order documents to reflect strategic messages and financial details.
  6. Integrate vendor and partner change orders into main documents, ensuring accuracy.
  7. Ensure all information is precise, including assumptions, processes, resource updates, and timelines.
  8. Apply meticulous financial formulas and cross-checks for accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in proposal and/or change order preparation using Excel-based costing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of project budgets, financial analysis, and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA (preferred)
  • Experience in the CRO industry

Additional skills include understanding the project lifecycle, excellent communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and in teams. Travel is minimal.
