Job summary

Freshfields is seeking a Change Manager for its MBD Global Operations team to lead adoption of new technology, improved ways of working and AI-enabled tools across the firm.

You will develop change, adoption and engagement plans, create audience-focused communications and design practical training to build capability. You will collaborate with product owners, CRM, IT and delivery teams to embed change across the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

Freshfields is a leading international law firm, advising clients on their most complex and business-critical matters. Our Marketing and Business Development (MBD) function plays a key role in how clients and markets experience the firm. We are looking for a Change Manager to join our MBD Global Operations team during an important period of transformation. You will help colleagues adopt new technology, improved ways of working and AI-enabled tools, ensuring change is clearly communicated, effectively embedded and aligned to business priorities.

What You Will Do

Develop and deliver change, adoption and engagement plans for Global Operations platforms and initiatives. Create clear, audience-focused communications that explain the purpose, impact and benefits of change. Design and deliver practical training, workshops and supporting materials to build confidence and capability. Work with product owners, CRM, Experience Management, IT and delivery teams to embed change activity across the project lifecycle. Use adoption data, feedback and insight to measure progress, identify risks and refine activity. Build and support a global network of change champions and super-users. Provide senior stakeholders with clear updates, recommendations and insight on change readiness and business impact.

What We Are Looking For

Experience supporting change, adoption or transformation activity in a complex organisation. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels. Confidence building trusted relationships and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to plan, prioritise and manage detail across multiple activities in a changing environment. Comfort working with data, feedback and insight to inform decisions and demonstrate impact. A proactive, collaborative and curious approach, with openness to learning new digital and AI-enabled tools.

Experience That Would Be Helpful

You do not need experience in every area listed below; however, exposure to one or more of the following would be beneficial: Technology adoption, digital transformation or process change within a global or matrixed environment. CRM platforms, enterprise systems or AI-enabled tools. Creating communications, training or engagement materials across channels such as SharePoint, email, presentations or video. Using adoption data, user feedback or performance insight to shape change activity. Professional services or another fast-paced, stakeholder-led environment.

Development And Support

You will join a global MBD function of client managers, communications specialists, designers and data professionals. The role offers the opportunity to develop your change management expertise, build a global network and contribute to technology-enabled transformation across the firm.
