Business Engagement Lead for UK/Lloyd's

Location: London, UK

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Engagement Lead will coordinate effectively across businesses and functions to evaluate, prioritize, and drive change successfully throughout the organization.

The Business Engagement Lead will serve as the key contact for all change initiatives (technology and non-technology) related to UK / Lloyd's, providing holistic views to the change portfolio and challenging priorities.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Day-to-day engagement: Work with the UK / Lloyd's region to guide strategy related to investments and prioritization, ensure alignment with global business architecture, identify high-level solutions, stay informed on the change landscape and project portfolio, develop business process and application knowledge, and serve as SME in projects.
  2. Project engagement: Oversee project launches, assess initial ideas, conduct pre-project analysis, develop business cases, support in navigating processes, drive project initiation, identify dependencies and risks, support change management, and occasionally drive specific initiatives.

You will report to the Head of Transformation & Change Delivery.

Candidate profile:
  • Experience managing large-scale programs, preferably in insurance and international environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in strategy consulting is advantageous
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting priorities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile environment
  • Business acumen with technology expertise
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influence skills
