Change Delivery Manager – Governance & Assurance – Salary up to £47,000

12- Month Fixed Term Contract

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Governance & Assurance (G&A) IWR (Insurance, Wealth & Retirement) Transformation Team as a Change Delivery Manager. This role will involve delivering both Change management and potentially ‘business as usual’ (BAU) support to the IWR G&A function to deliver strategic priorities.

One of the projects will support the integration of the Aviva Protection UK Ltd (formally AIGL) business within the IWR/Aviva estate.

We’re looking for someone who is seeking an opportunity to utilise their existing skills whilst building new ones across the depth and breadth of our team to help the business deliver their plans safely, at pace.

A bit about the job:

As part of the IWR Governance & Assurance team, the role-holder will lead change projects and support the G&A Senior Leadership Team with BAU challenges in a dynamic environment. This role offers the chance to work across the IWR business and various disciplines essential to our first-line G&A function. Key responsibilities include managing the integration of Aviva Protection UK Ltd (Project Watch) within our Protection business, a strategic priority for IWR. The role also involves scoping and shaping important projects, ensuring solutions are risk-based and customer-focused. Additionally, the role-holder will support change-related activities in the BAU environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and identify and mitigate emerging risks.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Superb senior stakeholder and relationship management experience i.e., be confident communicating and engaging with our IWR Senior Aviva leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Experience working with risk management frameworks within the Financial Services industry.
  • Preferably experience of business integrations and/or migrations or large-scale programmes.
  • A self-starter, able to take the initiative and lead a piece of work from start to finish, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, matched with excellent presentation and report writing skills.
