This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst remaining two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.
Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.
Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowances and hours.

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role & Key Responsibilities
Change Consultant - Are you looking to broaden your knowledge of organisational change?
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Change Team within People Services. The team provide expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to organisational change including changes to how, when and where our workforce work.
You’ll be responsible for supporting force-wide change projects, predominantly with Surrey Police, and for navigating the project team through any people related risks. Your core responsibilities will include ensuring:
•Staff and officers are appropriately supported and guided through the change process.
•Legal compliance with Employment Law and Police Regulations.
•The change process is managed in a way that maximises efficiencies and minimises disruption to operational delivery.
•All people related processes are fair, open and transparent and they support the retention and redeployment of employee skills, minimising the need to make redundancies.
The Fixed Term Contract and/or secondment (if an internal employee) is for a period of 2 years (with the potential to extend).
