Challenging Behaviour Assistant – Oxford

Whether you're a graduate in psychology, criminology, or social sciences, an ex-police officer, or an experienced Teaching Assistant, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with children who need structured support to thrive.

We are seeking a Challenging Behaviour Assistant to support students aged 5-11 years with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and behavioural difficulties in a specialist setting in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities - Challenging Behaviour Assistant:

  4. Build strong relationships with students, providing consistency and emotional regulation support.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or similar needs.
  2. A graduate, ex-police officer, or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role.
  3. Strong communication, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  4. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
