About us
The University of London (UoL) Chadburn Lectureships in Medicine to be held at University College London (UCL), are supported by the UoL from income from a Fund established following the sale of the South London Hospital for Women. The Lectureships are named after Miss Maud Mary Chadburn, a medical student and graduate of the UoL, and Founder of the Hospital.
About the role
Purpose of the Lectureships: to provide postdoctoral research opportunities for doctors in training, whose personal circumstances make it difficult or impossible for them to work full time. This includes those with family or other carer responsibilities. The scheme aims to fund up to three Clinical Lecturers who demonstrate excellent potential to be researchers in a medical specialty at UCL. The call is open to clinicians who have completed their doctoral training or will have completed their doctoral training by the time they take up the Lectureship.
