We are seeking a national Clinical Lead to support the Centre for Sustainable Delivery’s Perioperative Delivery Group (PDG). This role offers professional expertise in developing, designing, and delivering initiatives related to the Perioperative Delivery Group within NHS Scotland.
The Clinical Lead will collaborate with the National Improvement Advisor, National Associate Directors, and Associate Clinical Directors within the Centre for Sustainability. The focus is on developing 'Once for Scotland' approaches by providing strategic leadership and supporting clinical teams to test innovative practices and facilitate pathway redesigns that can be scaled across Scotland.
This position requires providing high-quality, credible clinical advice to underpin redesign efforts, ensuring practices align with high professional standards and the principles of Realistic Medicine. The ideal candidate will act as an authoritative change agent, demonstrating professionalism and experience working with NHS Scotland's executive and senior management.
