Job summary

DealHub Ltd. in Merseyside seeks a Chief Finance & Operations Officer to lead the Trust's financial strategy and broader business functions.

You will partner with the Principal and Trustees to drive budgeting, reporting, audit and risk management while supporting continuous improvement across procurement, contracts and operations. We expect extensive experience in education, strong leadership, and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Significant strategic leadership and resource management experience.
• Strong track record of leading and developing successful teams.
• Significant experience of budget management and financial planning.
• Previous experience within an educational setting.
• Experience leading Finance, HR, IT, Estates or Administration.
• Strong commercial acumen, including procurement and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and Trustees/Governors.
• A finance or business-related degree.
• A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA would be advantageous.

Your new role

As Chief Finance & Operations Officer, you will take overall responsibility for the Trust's financial leadership alongside its wider business operations, including Finance, HR, IT, Estates, Administration and Compliance. Working closely with the Principal, Trustees and senior leadership team, you will lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, reporting, audit and risk management, whilst driving continuous improvement across systems, procurement, contracts and operational services. You will also contribute significantly to the Trust's strategy and plans for future growth.
