Job Description:

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-Backed business currently seeking a CFO to lead the financial restructuring and stabilisation of the business, while supporting its longer-term growth ambitions.

The CFO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team, investors, and key stakeholders to drive the business’s transformation and turnaround strategy. They will be responsible for leading cash management initiatives, overseeing divestitures to maximise financial outcomes, and identifying operational performance gaps to unlock value across the organisation. The role also involves managing critical relationships with the private equity firm and banking partners, negotiating debt restructuring, and strengthening the company’s financial position.

Additionally, the CFO will lead and develop the finance team through a period of significant change, while playing a key role in delivering an ambitious Buy and Build strategy to drive long-term growth and value creation.

The ideal candidate:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA).
  • A proven track record as a CFO or Finance Director in transformation and turnaround environments.
  • Strong experience leading mid-sized to small businesses through periods of change.
  • A highly motivated, energetic leader with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
