Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Seasoned CFO with proven experience within a PE-backed multi-site consumer-facing business of scale.

• Commercially astute, with the ability to influence at board and investor level.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced, evolving business with ambitious expansion plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial leadership across the group, including strategy, planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Advise the CEO and top team with insight and challenge on commercial and operational decisions.
• Lead the finance function and drive systems, processes, reporting and management information across multiple sites.
• Contribute to strategic and corporate initiatives as the business progresses to its next phase.
• Collaborate with the CEO, investors and stakeholders in preparation for the future exit event.

Job description

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with an International PE-backed, multi-site consumer-facing business of significant scale in the search for a CFO to work closely alongside the CEO and senior leadership team. The business has an ambitious plan for further expansion and is entering an important phase of development, with a future exit event on the horizon.

The CFO will provide senior financial leadership across the group, overseeing financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting. Acting as a key adviser to the CEO, they will provide insight and challenge across commercial and operational decision-making, whilst ensuring the business maintains strong financial controls and governance.

As the business continues to develop and expand, the CFO will lead the finance function and support the continued development of systems, processes, reporting, and management information across a complex, multi-site operation. They will also be involved in a range of strategic and corporate initiatives as the business progresses through its next phase.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team to support financial performance, improve efficiencies, and provide clear financial insight across the business. You will also work alongside the CEO, investors, and wider stakeholders in preparation for the future exit event.
