Job description

Job Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Custody Support Worker to join our CFO Evolution team.

You'll be required to carry out tasks for a caseload of participants in a correctional setting, starting with the first engagement and evaluation. Participants will receive motivational support and guidance to help them stay engaged throughout their sentence. You'll provide both group work and one-on-one interventions to help participants overcome obstacles and reintegrate into their communities, including efficient pre-release preparation for seamless community reintegration.

Our successful candidate will ideally have experience in probation/social care or within the criminal justice sector. However, we value confidence and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds and circumstances, coaching and mentoring effectively.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) along with benefits such as:

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet individual and team performance targets in line with contractual requirements.

  • Contribute to a learning environment to develop skills and share best practices.
  • Ensure effective case management and risk coordination, with a focus on safeguarding adults and children, including timely reporting of concerns.
  • Meet all contractual targets.
