Who’s the business:

Zanda is partnering with a VC-backed B2B SaaS business, vertically aligned into the climate and industrial tech space. The company is growing at 100% YOY and recently completed a significant fundraise led by sustainability-focused growth investors.

The business is searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to drive financial performance, improve reporting and forecasting capabilities, and support international scaling. This is a pivotal appointment to help steer the business toward profitability and beyond.

The company boasts a mission-led, highly capable senior team and is seeking a CFO who can bring a blend of commercial insight, urgency, decision support and operational dependability to the table. This person will play a central role in supporting the CEO and board through the next chapter of growth.

What experiences you will gain:

  • Build out a best-in-class finance function across FP&A, strategic planning, decision support, reporting, controls, compliance, and systems.
  • Introduce meaningful financial visibility and budget accountability across all business functions.
  • Lead all fundraising efforts including financial modelling, scenario planning, investor deck creation, and negotiations with new and existing investors.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO, helping shape and deliver the company’s long-term business plan.
  • Take full ownership of financial strategy and planning, supporting the business in its drive toward profitability.
  • Provide regular insight and reporting to the Board, Audit Committee, and investors while creating transparency and trust.
  • Support the development of international financial operations and readiness for future expansion.

What background should you have before you press apply!

  • You’re an experienced CFO or VP Finance with a track record in scaling B2B SaaS businesses, ideally Series B+ stages that combine hardware and software solutions, with an understanding of hybrid revenue models, supply chains, and margin dynamics.
  • You’ve operated in VC-backed environments, with hands-on experience of fundraising, board engagement, and international expansion.
  • Strong commercial acumen - you’re comfortable with unit economics, product and growth metrics, and capital efficiency.
  • You’ve built and led finance teams in companies scaling from ~50 to 150+ people.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into commercial strategy, enabling leaders across the business to make faster, better-informed decisions.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, performance metrics, and financial systems infrastructure.
  • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and a trusted business partner who brings both challenge and clarity.
