deskbird is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive team in a hybrid role based in Europe (Zurich, Berlin, Munich, or London). You will own the equity story, lead future financing rounds and run an AI-first, lean finance function aimed at scalable growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate brings PE/M&A experience, and a track record of capital-efficient finance in a scaling SaaS business.

Qualifications

• Transaction-shaped career: ideally PE, M&A or investment banking, followed by operating experience in a scaling company.

Responsibilities

• The equity story and funding readiness: lead financing rounds and maintain a credible data room and narrative for investors.
• Profitability path: own the plan to reach sustainable positive cash flows with disciplined capital allocation.
• AI-first finance & operations: hands-on, AI-enabled finance function with lean team.
• GTM & product insights: inform pricing, packaging and unit-economics decisions to drive growth and efficiency.
• International structure and tax efficiency: manage multi-entity European structure and transfer pricing.
• Cap table and investor-grade financials: maintain clean cap table and GAAP conversion as needed.
• Board and investor relations: run reporting rhythms and represent the company to investors.
• Treasury, FX, and runway discipline: risk management, audits, and procurement oversight.
