Job summary

Guideposts Trust is launching a new Talking Therapies service delivering Counselling for Depression (CfD) in line with NICE guidelines. We are recruiting: 3 Qualified CfD Counsellors (Mon–Fri) and 1 Qualified CfD Counsellor (Sat). You will provide short-term therapy to individuals aged 16 and over with mild to moderate depression.

The service is trauma-informed, inclusive, and person-centred. We offer funded CfD Practitioner Training for two BACP-registered counsellors to join the service.

Qualifications

• Qualified CfD counsellor for permanent role.
• Experience providing short-term therapy.
• Knowledge of NICE guidelines for CfD.

Responsibilities

• You will provide short-term therapy to individuals aged 16+ with mild to moderate depression.
• The service is trauma-informed, inclusive and person-centred.
